The last two figures (a duck on some amazing water and a hipster farmer) took forever to finish. But we did it, and now the Alameda Point Collaborative’s Harvest Festival will have a full barnyard full of photo ops. You’ll just have to come through and see them for yourself.
Totally forgot that I meant to put the farmer in a more urban setting (views of the bay, SF, and the Oakland cranes), but I got in some happy super veggies, so that’s something. Bunner insisted that the farmer not be skinny and Bunner’s mom insisted on the tattoos. And the skin color…that was some kinda sociological experiment in and of itself. We had just the basic colors (green, yellow, red, black, white) and as I kept mixing to approximate the light brown farmer we had in mind, Bunner kept testing it against her skin. Finally she said it didn’t have to be realistic and we went with a slightly purplish-yellow person.
