Not nearly enough time to post today, but got in some good doodling and a little painting on a couple fishcake boards.
The top is today’s GIVE selection, and the bottom is midway thru a future GIVE selection (if all goes well). Two totally separate pieces in terms of color, content, everything, but I played with lining them up and trying to borrow elements from each back and forth a bit. The cranes have been a longstanding obsession of mine, and even after 5 years at BellyP, I’m still amazed at my gnarled old lemon tree. Lately I’ve also been having fun with hand-drawn type. It’s always a bit chunkier/less perfect than I’d like, but I’m still having fun with it.
