Art day…with great company and lots of good eats. Great way to pass the day…

Spent a day (César Chávez day, heaaay!) with JY, roaming around Oaktown, eating good food, and walking the dogs.

We got in a little doodling while spending some quality time discussing everything from napkin art to white crown sparrows (if you look closely, you might see the Latin name in the sketchbook).

Sadly, our work was nothing like the bearded lady sketch a rama that set this all off. But the company and conversation were great, as my goal was for us to achieve failure quickly and often, I’d classify this day as a unmitigated success.
